History:

Marcus was born and raised as a normal Axew, back then he was more open and expressive. He lived in a forest with his parents, he was about 10 around the time it happened. Team Rocket had invaded their forest and were capturing the Pokemon that lived in it. In the frenzy of  escaping Pokemon he had lost his parents and was eventually captured. He was scared and alone, the worst thing a child could wrap their head around at the time, but he soon learned of worse things than being separated from his family. At first, the tests the Rockets put him through were small, little obstacle courses and chew-able pills to enhance his performance, this went on for about a year.

The next year wasn't that bad either, Marcus was actually starting to enjoy being here. The things that he did here were mere games to the child, now the Rockets gave him pills he needed to swallow, he did so without resistance, these pills increased his IQ. They then allowed him to play "games" to see how fast he could memorize things, it was slow at first, he was still a child, but over the next two years he developed an eidetic memory with the help of the pills and "games." At this point he could beat just about any of the Rockets at a game of chess.

The next three years included battle classes which weren't his forte. He was still thinking that everything here was just a game, most the other Pokemon in his battle class were scared by how he would brutally beat-down his opponent and walk off laughing saying, "Nice game." But now that he was twelve- turning thirteen, the Rockets were bringing down the hammer on him, they thought that he was ready for the "next phase."

In that very same year, Marcus was taken from his room in the base to a dark room with an autopsy table where he was strapped down, and try as he might, he couldn't break free of the bonds. The people that he had trusted were at a table discussing what to do with him.

"Who wants to see how long he can last in intense heat?" Was one suggestion.

"Or maybe we can see if we can force an evolution?

"Cut off his tusks?"

But it was the last one that he dreaded the most. "Let's infuse him with Fairy type genes, all of our other subjects never survived that!"

He struggled frantically to get free which made his captors laugh. They typed a few commands into a computer, creating a file that read "Subject 243: Axew- fairy type infusions." A few more commands and a syringe was loaded with the genes. Marcus, at this point, had found it useless to fight. Soon, one of the scientists was hovering over him, a mocking smile on his face as he injected Marcus with the genes and took a step back; at first nothing happened, he had a sliver of hope that hey'd gotten the wrong genes. That wasn't the case. In the split second the'd though that, he was writhing on the table in pain, like something was pulling him apart from the inside. Soon, he blacked out because the pain was too much.

When he regained consciousness again, he was in a forest, alone, his body still aching. He stumbled to his feet, checking on his body to make sure that everything was intact and what he found startled him. A mark on his chest resembling a pair of wings. It all came back to him, he hated the Rockets for what they did, and he wanted to destroy them. They betrayed his trust. He ran off in no particular direction, his goals set. After two years of traveling he was scared out of his wits by a Pichu that seemed to come out of nowhere, it's eyes were pitch black. He was offered a chance to join his "Rebellion" and how could he refuse.

(Long history is long~ Deal with it~ ))
